La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Airport North

Hotel design is not best for mobility challenged people. Limited handicap parking at front entrance. Most spots are located at back near pool where entrance has no elevator to access upper floors. ADA rooms are at end of hallway far away from elevator. ADA rooms had a tub not a walk-in shower. Also no handheld shower head. Tub bottom was very slippery. However, there were several grab bars and a seat. Room didn’t have much space for our mobility scooters. ||Hot breakfast was suitable but lots of carbohydrates.

Booked this room because their site states there is an international shuttle to the airport. Upon arrival we were informed, rudely I will add, that that is not the case. Only domestic shuttles. No baby beds or anything of the nature, which is odd for hotels considering many people travel with Littles. The room is subpar on cleanliness. There were peanuts on the floor, the sheet wasn't pulled over the mattress completely and there were brown spots, there was hair in the bathroom, and the hallways smell very odd. The fee to park is ridiculous when already paying to stay at the hotel. My biggest issue is the noise from the bar across the street. It is RIDICULOUS. My toddler was kept awake ALL night due to the constant loud music. The bar is a problem. I can hear it clearly in my room. Nobody

Positive: The location was convenient for airport travel and check in was simple. Negative: The cleanliness could be improved. The floors had hair and lint from past stays, mostly in the bathroom. Our room had a conjoining door. We checked everything was locked, the handle came loose. Check in was quick but staff didnt provide any stay details.

Hobby and Carter made check-in a breeze. Both were very professional and thorough throughout our stay. Even when faced with an unruly “visitor” of another guest, Hobby dealt with him in a professional and firm way bringing credit to his attention to security of paying guests and the property. He continued his efficient multi-tasking skills with demanding guests regardless of the visitors aggressive attitude. Hobby is a great credit to your organization. This man deserves a raise and formal recognition for his professionalism.

I usually only stay at Hilton line hotels, however I got a great package deal for this location along with a car rental. From the moment I checked in, they were nothing but welcoming and professional. The room was clean and the response from staff always prompt! Ms. Karima, Mr. Donald and Mr. Dewand are doing an amazing job. Highly recommend.
