La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Victoria

HORRIBLE. I typically do not leave reviews but I feel compelled to after how HORRENDOUS this stay was for me. When I first checked in and got to my room everything seemed fine. I noticed it was dirty but mainly on the baseboards and crevices of the room. It didn’t really bother me as I know I booked a budget motel and wasn’t expecting perfection. I also noted that the bathtub stopper wouldn’t work and there were two lightbulbs out. I am not one to be super picky when booking a stay on a budget. I never mentioned any of this or complained to any of the staff. However after my first night, my sink clogged up and they offered to switch my room. We were on our way to Valley and it was late night when we were passing through Victoria, thought to stay in Victoria and restart our journey in the morning, we stopped by this hotel and we had a good night rest.

Positive: The bathtub plug didn?t work the room was not clean and there was dead and love insects. Smelled very musty upon entry Negative: ""

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel for the last 8 years when we passed through and it blows my mind that the owner never remembers us but anyways it's a very clean hotel very friendly service very comfortable rooms continental breakfast is the best around very friendly. The rates are outstanding and honestly I think he should go up on his rates . That's how good the say is

16 year old mattresses. Mold growing on everything. Rust on all things metal. Roaches and bugs. Moldy smell. Doors hard to close. Always loud. Refrigerator doesn't always work. Mold on the mattresses. Update: Another room, twin bed setup. Also has mattresses from 6/11/09. You will wake up and feel like a truck hit you.
