La Quinta Inn by Wyndham El Dorado

Positive: This is an older motel, but has been nicely updated. I like the easy access to your vehicle. The breakfast was very nice and well kept. All staff from lady at breakfast to maids were excellent. Negative: ""

Everything was wonderful. Perfect location. Comfortable beds, a bit on the smaller side, than we're used to. 2 king rooms would be better, or 1 king, 1 queen room. Breakfast the 1st morning for us was great, Debra was amazing!! The 2nd morning, nit so much, the lady didn't have any eggs out, and the biscuits were hard. Other than that, we'll for sure be back.

The place looked great inside after a recent full remodel. The price was a bit high for the area (far side of town, bad side of town, two gas stations within miles and no food places, at least not on a Sunday). Clerk was friendly. Room was okay. Biggest issues were the fridge not working (drinks went in after standing outside with them for 15 minutes and were warmer after sitting in the fridge all night, setting at max), and the sink had no hot water. I let that run for 10 minutes and it never got above room temp. Cold was colder. Shower was piping hot.

The stay was very disappointing!!! Our recent stay at the La Quinta hotel was very disappointing. We've stayed there on several occasions, but this time was different. We were disturbed by staff knocking on our door for cleaning and maintenance at 8 AM, despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed. They were aware we checked in around 2 AM and should have respected our right to rest. In total, there were four knocks in the morning, which forced us to reconsider our plans to stay another night; we ended up searching for a different hotel. Additionally, we were asked to provide a $50 deposit, which has proven to be a hassle to recover. We had to make multiple calls to various contacts to get our deposit back. While we were told we would receive it within 24 hours, it has now been over 4

This was my first time booking my own hotel room! It was a really smooth process and the stay was so pleasant.💕 The rooms were clean (no bedbugs or anything!) and the staff were very polite. AND, the breakfast they provided was yummy. Pretty good experience if I do say so myself.✨
