Holiday Inn Express & Suites El Dorado by IHG

I had a wonderful experience here. My room was extremely clean. The sheets smelled wonderful and were a clean crisp white. Bathroom was immaculite! I actually felt comfortable enough to take a bath because it was so clean! The staff were AMAZING! Kind, considerate and willing to help in any way. The breakfast was fantastic. The employee that handled breakfast did a phenomenal job. My city was hit hard by the ice storm. We have been without power for almost a week. I drove to El Dorado to get heaters and propane. I was exhausted. The manager was very empathetic and allowed me to check in early. I will never forget that nice gester. That is the reason I will be back. Kindness matters especially when people are dealing with catastrophic events. Thanks Holiday Inn Express & Su

The staff that checked us in was very friendly. However when we went upstairs over half the room doors were open including one of our 2 rooms. The room was clean but the pillows didn’t have pillow cases which we received from the front desk. She tried moving us to another room but that room was open as well. The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was mediocre. The sausage was cool and the eggs were still frozen in the middle. The orange juice was warm. When we got back to our room the second night, housekeeping had come and they took a towel off the counter that I had my shower stuff sitting on so my stuff was just sitting on the counter. The room was so clean and smelled fresh, right next to the elevator on the first floor and it was so quiet and comfortable. I’m so happy they had the (all Dove products not the cheap generic stuff ) shampoo/conditioner/ body wash dispensers in the shower because my little travel ones were almost empty. They have fresh coffee all day. The breakfast was great compared to other hotels I’ve been in recently. |The young ladies in the morning at the front desk were fantastic, very helpful, and so kind. They recommended a place for dinner at the Flying Burger, and it was delicious. They just made the place so welcoming, almost home away home. I travel a Lot and I appreciate them so much

We stayed 2 nights and had a king bed on 3rd floor. Check-in was pretty easy. Pool was down but it was advertised on their website that I was down for maintenance. Room was very clean and smelled good. King bed was very comfortable with firm and plush pillows. I love a softer bed and this more firm then I usually like but it was better then other hotels we’ve stayed at. Problem was first night was Incredibly noisy! people banging doors and yelling. They put a Big family with 4 kids next to us and it was Insane how noisy it was! Walls are so thin too. Ice machine down by elevator was noisy. Second night was much better as I’m assuming the people next door left. Shower is ok. Nothing special with so-so water pressure. Breakfast was Really good. Toast, eggs, sausage honey biscuits and pancake

Good location next to Super 8 (NOTE same driveway to turn into-don't get confused!). Only 2 luggage carts. One had a flat tire, so should have been out of service before we loaded all our luggage and tried to use. Also shower fixture kept falling off when used-annoying & confusing to tired travelers. Breakfast was awful! Needs a much larger breakfast area with more options. Very disappointing! Actually having cookies available for guests as advertised would be good too. Kids constantly disappointed. One of two Computers working. Good space to work with outlets & ports built into tables. Printer fast & worked well. Friendly staff, but didn't physically do anything to assist with encountered issues.
