Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites El Dorado

Booked this hotel online because it had a bistro and bar, of course upon arrive it was closed. W).e travel and we always like to stay where we can get a meal and cocktail and retire to our room for a nice quite sleep. Not here. The young lady at the desk was very nice. She thank me for being a rewards member and said the bar/bistro was closed (This was on a Friday Night). Only place to eat to walk to was McDonald's and a chicken place. We checked in and went to are room. The room was clean and comfortable. Walked back down to lobby to get a beer then back to the room. While in the room we started smelling marijuana, then the room next door began to play loud music and talking over the music on his phone to his "bro" and some other choice words. Quiet. The best word to describe this hotel is Quiet. Stayed here for several days consecutively and was pleasantly surprised that it was the quietist hotel I’ve ever stayed in. All the amenities were top notch but the fact that it was so quiet just overwhelms me. If you’re looking for a clean comfortable and good place to stay this is it and did I say how quiet it is? It’s quiet.

We have stayed here a few times for work. The rooms are decent. It would be nice if they got rid of the carpet, fixed the wallpaper on the walls, and cleaned the walls in the bathroom. The linens were clean on each of our visits. The breakfast has been great every time we have stayed here. They even offer gluten free muffins! The breakfast bar is kept clean and well stocked! The fitness center is well equipped and clean.

Very clean and modern hotel with very large in-room TVs with all high-def digital channels, HBO, and your personal Netflix and Youtube. The staff is outstanding -- very friendly and attentive. There are evening snacks during the week but they are not free. The fully stocked bar with bartender is really nice. The free breakfast is clean and fresh but a bit repetitive so there is a brand new McDonalds next door if you want a change. The fitness center is very nice but the pool is very small. Plenty of free parking.

I’ve stayed at the Fairfield Inn in El Dorado many times and have always had a great experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-run. Markesha at the front desk is especially friendly, helpful and efficient. Would recommend to anyone in El Dorado for business or otherwise!
