La Quinta Inn by Wyndham College Station

This has to be the worst place in college station to get a room at. The moment I walked thru the room that they gave me a roach crossed in front of me. Then it's several that's dead on the inside of the cabinets. U might as well sleep on the floor because the beds are mattress and iron. Like a jail house bed. It was hair all over the place like an animal was living in there. They will brush off the fact that the room has roaches an say we can give u another room if u like. We'll no at that point. I encourage everyone to not stay here at all.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!|Booked through website super.com (They should change the name to super con.com)- Advertised as a La Quinta by Wyndham. It is not a La Quinta, its a Rodeway Inn (big sign out front). Place is either going through a rehab or its falling apart, maybe both. First room I was given was room 110. Went to the room, hung out for a few mins. Discovered MOLD on the shower ceiling. Packed my stuff up and went to the front desk. He moved me to room 109. Walked in- no mold in the shower. I noticed a strong odor in the room. Saw an incense stick (burnt) sticking out of night stand wedged between the wall. OK, maybe that's what I was smelling. Went to the front desk to report it so they would not think it was me or that I was smoking in the room. He comes back with me and ins

Definitely needs renovations and there was no breakfast due to new management apparently, but price was good. The rooms were clean, beds were good and the AC and hot water worked perfectly. Oh, pool was clean but all the chairs were pretty broken.

We booked here as other hotels were booked out. Arriving at the hotel, we stepped into a lobby with an overpowering artificial room freshener scent, so strong that I had to step out immediately, leaving me with a pounding headache. Deferred maintaining all over the property. Walking up to our room, we were greeted by a pile of laundry next to our door, which remained there until we reported it to the front desk the next day. The room was spacious, but filthy: stains all over the carpet, mascara from a prior guest on my pillow, dirty corners all over, dirty mirrors, scum and stains on the shower curtain, run down rooms to a degree I don’t remember seeing for decades. I’m sure the missing smoke detector is a housing violation. There is a pool, but the cloudy water makes you wonder if it is s
