La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bend

Needed a pet-friendly hotel for the night and was lucky enough to find La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bend. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was pretty quiet which is always great when you're trying to sleep after a long drive. The only thing I wish they'd improve, was the Pet Area. It's mainly dirt (very little grass) and could use more lighting. They do provide bags, but some irresponsible dog owners don't clean up after their pets! It would also be nice if it was fenced in so dogs could run around a bit before they do their duty....Overall, I was very pleased and would stay here again.

Positive: "" Negative: Someone’s used washcloth was still hanging on the shower curtain. Shower did not drain; this was reported to the front desk who said they’d send someone to fix it but pretty sure no one ever looked at it.

We were here for a weekend stay. Front desk was great. Easy check in and the room was clean and decent sized. We entered the hotel and the smell of weed was very present. Even in our room it was pretty bad. ||Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast consisting of eggs,waffles, sausage links, bagels toast, etc. Nothing special but edible. ||All that being said it is a good value for what it is. If you are ok with all of that it is a good value for the money.

I reserved a king suite and when I got there found out it was located on the 3rd floor. I don't like being upstairs when I have my dogs with me. I was graciously accommodated by the desk host Isaiah and he found me a comparable room on the first floor and it was even close to an entrance/exit near enough to the pet area. I am very happy with the room and hospitality.

Last minute booking and we arrived quite late. The front desk was kind and efficient. Staff interaction was pleasant our entire stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Bummer about the pool and spa permit not being up to date, and the mild mildew smell/spots of black mold in the shower were my only complaints.
