This boutique hotel in the heart of Little Italy is an absolute gem. It’s quaint, charming & perfectly situated right in the middle of all the action. The rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable, thoughtfully designed, with great views of Little Italy & even glimpses of the harbor. A huge plus for me personally was the in-room fridge & the microwave conveniently located in the conference room on the first floor—perfect for guests like me who tend to eat in the room while others are asleep. Those little details made a big difference. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the stellar customer service. A special shout-out to Anneliese & Joe at the front desk—they were outstanding. Anneliese's lovely attitude, warm smile & welcoming energy made us feel like we were VIPs. She wa

WiFi absolutely sucks. In 2025, it should not be this bad. It isn’t password protected, so anyone can try to get on. |It either won’t let you on, or kicks you off 30 seconds later. |The front desk lady was not helpful and just looked at me like I was crazy. |See speed test photo. This is almost as bad as speed tests on a cruise miles from shore. Unacceptable for a major city. |It’s going to be LONG 5 days here!

Very nice hotel and property. Rooms are a little tired, bathrooms are spacious but again, a little dated. Quiet, peaceful. Great central location

Perfect location in Little Italy. Farmer's Market is right outside the front of the hotel on Saturday mornings and so many restaurants, etc in the immediate area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay here again!

If you're looking for peace and quiet, I can't recommend La Pensione. It's right on an extremely busy street, and my room had a window facing that street. Traffic, loud music, loud voices late into a Wednesday evening. At 10 pm I was like, "At least it will be quiet in the morning." Unfortunately, no: Some men had a very loud, chaotic conversation on the street around 8:30 am in the morning. Another source of noise: the mini split in my room, which I turned on for cool air. It was SO loud: well beyond a hum, into "whine" or "screech" territory. So to be honest, my one-night stay here ... was hellish. Additionally, I found the room and hotel to be slightly run down. I think this hotel works if you want to eat, drink, and party in Little Italy, and stay up late, and have lodging you can wa
