Knights Inn Yemassee

We walked into lobby and the smell was awful. Host made comment to my spouse about not screaming too loud. Non smoking Room smelled terrible, lights were falling out of ceiling and there was black dirt. Now we’re reading the reviews and believe it was probably mold. Host gave us a refund with no problems. We’re out!

I have a baby, and 2 teenage boys. I had no where else to find a cheap hotel because we’re traveling 32 hours to a state. This place felt so unsafe. It was super dirty when we opened the door. The beds had dirt and crumbs on it. Some of the lamps don’t work, and this room is SUPER OUTDATED. The fridge door was also broken and didn’t close so we couldn’t use it. We didn’t feel as safe so we barricaded the front door. The bed sheets were stained too…. Do not come here ever, especially if you have kids. There was stains on almost everything and a dead ROACH ON THE FLOOR. I felt like there were cameras hidden so I checked the smoke alarm with my flashlight to make sure there was not a camera.

ABSOLUTELY NOT EVEN A 2 STAR HOTEL THEY CHARGED $80 THERE IS BLACK MOLD ALL OF THE ROOMS..EVERYWHERE!! HOLES IN THE CEILINGS..MOLD ALL OVER THE BEDS BLOOD STAINS EVERYWHERE I WAS HORRIFIED THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! We went thru 3 different rooms because of how bad they were but everyone time they said they would give us a cleaner one, the rooms just got more worse...there are people doing drugs out there..its insane...the poolthwy turned into a garden and seems like they take better care of that then the motel.There were bed bugs crawling on the bed soon as we checked it when we go in the room.how is this even a place of buisness??! I felt so gross just walking in there!! They did not want to refund us our money, but i was about to raise holy hell! I had to wash after i left outt

Positive: It was right off the highway. Negative: Had to try 3 rooms before we found one clean enough to stay in. Electric didn?t work by the bed, was connected to the one ceiling light, which did. This place needs to be totally gutted & redone. Even the front sign was too rusted to read.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Was driving home from FL last night and stopped in trying to get a quick nights sleep (worse decision of my life) The man working the counter is probably the strangest acting man I’ve met, after the transaction he was very proudly telling me how he’s paying one of the guests for sexual favors. Went into the room and didn’t even make it past the door frame before noticing how dirty, smelly, and awful the room is/was. There’s cockroaches, bed bugs, and unknown substances littered everywhere! Do yourself a favor, avoid the parking lot!
