Best Western Point South

We stop here on our way to and from Florida and it is great - easy on and off I95. Even better this time with the rooms renovated. Very comfortable and large enough for two plus our dog. Great place to walk our dog too. |Place is clean with all the amenities. Bring your own lotion as that isn't provided.

The desk clerk at midnight was wonderful, as was the one when we were leaving in the morning. So sweet, kind, affable. The shower was just tolerable. The water took 15 minutes to get to that tolerable temperature, though. That was about 9:30am. And the coffee cups in the room had a fabric softener scent. My daughter got me one from the breakfast room and it was fine. We’d stay here again.

Positive: This Best Western was just remodeled and it was simple, and inviting. Bamboo floors, huge bathroom, firm but comfortable king bed, fridge, microwave, soft & bright lighting and all of it very clean. The free breakfast was fantastic - eggs, sausage, etc. Negative: No

This is a really nice hotel for the price. I think it just got updated because the room looked super new. Huge tv with amazon prime and netflix which was nice. Super clean. No carpet which is a huge plus for me. They are pet friendly and give you a pet treat bag upon check in, which is a nice touch. Will definitely be back when traveling south again!

Don't know how they are rated 5 star. We were so disappointed. Rooms were recently remodeled and were nice however bathrooms were terrible. Very outdated and dingy. Needed much improvement. The rooms were so far away from the breakfast area with no type of cover. Breakfast area very small for a huge hotel. It was shoulder to shoulder in there waiting in line for food. Not enough tables. Very disappointing. Had to call hotel to get a receipt as no body manning the desk in the morning. Best Western is where we usually stay because we travel with a pet and have had very good experiences at most everyone. This was a disappointment.
