Hampton Inn Yemassee/Point South

By far the best option in this area. The alternatives nearby are mostly motels or run-down properties. The hotel is generally clean and appears to have been renovated some years ago. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet—great for a light sleeper like me. That said, the refrigerator in my room didn’t cool properly, which was disappointing, and the front desk staff came across as polite but somewhat reluctant. Food options within walking distance are limited to fast food (Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Subway). Overall, still the strongest choice locally despite a few shortcomings.

This was a really nice hotel. We were driving to Florida and trying to find a convenient dog friendly hotel that didn’t have really awful reviews. I’m picky lol. It was clean and very satisfactory. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Employees nice and friendly too.like I said I’m picky- and we’d definitely stay here again.

Stopped while on a road trip. No reservations but they had rooms. Gave them our phone number (HH Member) but not recognized. Room was clean, breakfast offered a nice selection, staff were professional. Nothing nearby restaurant wise except fast food. Areas to walk your best friend.

The staff at this Hampton Inn pays attention to detail, which seems rare regarding hotels on I95. The grounds were beautifully tended, which may not be important to most travelers, but I appreciated walking my dog in a beautiful environment. The hotel itself looks newly refurbished; it was stylish & clean. We slept quite comfortably-the area was quiet, even with its proximity to I95. I also appreciated finding the handout in our room with pertinent information regarding pet care. I highly recommend this hotel!
