Knights Inn Pittston

Positive: This isn't a luxury property but for being a budget motel it was clean and all amenities worked as they should. Negative: Towels were a little small and thin and the fan in the bathroom was a bit loud but again, this is a motel so if you go into it with low expectations, they will be met or exceeded.

I needed to get another non-smoking room before the date, when it showed none available. Within 2 days before arrival, they were able to make the change. However, the room I was in smelled heavily of cigarette smoke & of a chemical to hide it. A cigarette burn was in a room chair. The bathroom sink was stained with black-like tar oil. My pillows smelled horrible, so bad I took them off & had to use bath towels to replace them. There was no room clock. After a long drive there, we got there at 9:30p & were too tired to complain. The air conditioning was good & the shower worked fine, despite a masonry hole all around it. We did not use the refrigerator or coffee maker.

Stayed in a Jacuzzi suite during the storm. Nice room with a mini fridge and microwave. Color TV with Direct TV. Jacuzzi was a nice size, but it seemed to be a little dirty. The glaze was coming off on the bottom. Wore bathing suits in it. Shower was a nice size with good water temps. Nice large vanity outside the bathroom with a very large mirror and lots of counter space. Mirrored walls around the Jacuzzi were a nice touch. Parking was ample and convenient in front of the door. They kept the exit plowed which allowed easy entry and exit. A lot of amenities very close by. Has station right next door and across the road. McDonald's very close. Walmart less than a mile away. As well as Arby's across the street and Taco Bell by Walmart. Chinese restaurant and pizza/hoagie shop also by Walmar

Decently priced, but you get what You pay for. The rooms were a little run down. Definitely needs an update but it was mostly clean from what I could tell. offered smoking rooms, and if you're not a smoker, it won't bother you, because all entrances into your room are from outside.The way the hotel is set up the smoke is only in the room That's being smoked in.There are no hallways to contain the smoke. Not a bad spot to stop if you are looking for more an economy room. Definitely not for romantic or luxury stays.

The people at the front desk were nice I guess. We maybe said 2 sentences to each other. The room was an absolute disaster. When I walked in it smelled like weed, cigarettes, and cigars had an orgie. The beds were gross and the sheets definitely weren't washed. There were stains and long pet hair all over it. The door, when closed, you can see through the bottom of it to the outside. The towels were stained. If you are tall the toilets aren't for you seeing how they're maybe a foot and a half off the floor. The fridge and ice box worked though so there's that I guess.
