Kiva Motel

The Kiva Hotel is one of the cleanest, most comfortable hotels I have stayed in. The sheets and all the bedding was freshly washed and didn't have the overwhelming scent of bleach. The mattress was new and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were impeccable with new chalking, no mildew and not a trace of dirt in the corners of the floor. The air conditioner worked perfectly, did not sound loud as in many hotels. The room had a ceiling fan which added to the comfortable temperature of the room. Great hotel to stay at!

I go to the White Mountains as often as I can, and have stayed in motels, hotels and my RV. In the way of cozy motels - this is the place. Although the room was a bit dated, it added to the charm. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was one of the more comfortable I've slept on. Even the pillows were very good. The amenities in room were as expected - small fridge, coffee maker, etc. The owner checked me in, and was one of the friendliest and polite people I've met (the couple has owned it 29 years). My recommendation: go ahead and book your stay at Kiva. I know that I will be staying there again.

Great place to stay. Honestly was not my first choice but now has become it. The owners are very polite and hospitable. Checked on me whenever we saw each other in passing and made me feel super welcomed. It’s in the perfect location as well. Plenty of gas stations around, a grocery store, the bank, Starbucks and delicious restaurants are just a few minutes away. Oh, and the prices!! Great prices. While everything was well over my budget, this motel was the perfect price. I visit the White Mountains often and now this will be my go-to place, and it should be for you too!

Nice, well appointed rooms that offer all the basics (coffee maker, blow dryer, refrigerator, wi-fi, etc.). The location is perfect making it very easy to explore the surrounding areas. The owners are very accommodating, attentive, kind and are the only staff so do everything. Your privacy is taken into consideration and your room will be cleaned each day unless you request that it be left as is. However, the owners will check with you to make sure your needs (more/clean towels, for example) are met if you choose to forgo daily cleaning. Of note is the cleaning...the owners wear masks and gloves and start the cleaning by opening the door/window and spraying an aerosol to kill anything suspended in the air. The room was super clean and I felt very safe.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The motel was easy to get to. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and approachable. I would definitely come back! Highly recommended.
