Kings Kamp RV Park, Marina, Hotel Rooms

We camped here for a week during New Years 2026. Site 57 on the water. We absolutely loved it! Now this is not a resort, no pool, nothing for kids really but it’s in an amazing location, it’s beautiful and everything works (fhu site). It was New Years so it was crowded, had a lot of respectful parties going on but that just added to the fun vibe. It has a very little sandy beach and wonderful views of Blackwater Sound. Bath houses were average but clean and again it was super busy! Make sure you can drive your rig well because it’s tight in there. We will definitely be back!

Campground is way too tight. We were literally inches from our neighbor. (See photo). It is very loud and appears to have no quiet hours. The bathhouse and shower are average. On the plus side, it is on the water.

I stayed at King's Kamp for about 3 months in my rv. The location is great! Close to restaurants and shopping plus Pennekamp Park. Margaret and Ruth in the office are very kind and helpful! They aim to please and are willing to do what it takes to make visitors happy. The sunset views are beautiful and there is a boat ramp plus little swimming beach. Definitely check it out but call way in advance because they book up fast!

We stayed at the RV park last Christmas. The stay was ruined by people playing loud music till 2 am. We asked to be moved and were assured they would be leaving by New Year's. They weren't. We complained again and were dismissed and told we were the kind of people that ruined the stay for other people. If I could give a rating in the negative I would. We will get the bottled answer about sorry you didn't have a good time. Lousy staff!!!

My recommendation is that if you're going to visit this place, you should go in your own RV. Those who bring their own vehicles face far fewer restrictions than those who rent from the facility. You can do as you please, bring your pets, and enjoy more freedom overall. Apparently, the rules mainly apply to people who rent their spaces — which honestly feels like discrimination. One of the most disappointing aspects of our visit was the attitude of one of the staff members. She had to come back after hours for an issue that wasn't our fault, and did so with a terrible attitude.
