Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection

The resort is very relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were large and clean. However, housekeeping was not super friendly. Maintenance helped us with a plug and they were super nice and very prompt.. Kadesha and Jacqueline at the breakfast for elite members were absolutely fantastic. One of them stood out so much that I remembered her excellent service from a year ago. She could easily be an instructor on hospitality. This resort is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the many amenities. I plan on making this a yearly retreat.

Positive: Location Negative: They charge you $25 a day plus 2 redundancy taxes for parking the car yourself. So almost $30 a day for the privilege of walking a 1/4 of a mile to my car. Total rip off.

Beautiful resort, rooms very spacious and well appointed. Excellent on-site dining options. Staff was very professional and super friendly, valet, front desk, housekeeping and especially Jacqueline and Kedisha in the breakfast room were all great! Loved the welcome drinks and the Eventide sunset cocktail! We went mid-week which I was happy about as there were two weddings booked on the weekend. Will definitely stay there again!

My family and I stayed here for a week in mid-December. The property is beautiful but there is room for improvement. Here’s a breakdown of what we loved and what we didn’t love.||Loved:|• Beautiful property and pool / bar area|• All day ice water available at the pool towel hut|• Free smores every evening by the pool|• Free alcoholic slushie available throughout the day at the registration desk|• Free breakfast smoothie available until 10 am daily in the gift shop|• Spacious, updated room (without carpeting!), Nespresso coffee maker|• Breakfast buffet (the breakfast staff was very thoughtful and friendly). This is a great resort to enjoy the stay at Cayo Largo. Fancy hotel. All the people who work here were so nice. At the front desk, at breakfast and on the beach and pool. The food is good. In restaurants could be better. The drinks at the bar are great. The experience for sunset is awesome and it’s worth to come and see it. The only thing we didn’t like in the bedrooms, every time someone in other rooms flush de toilet somehow it activated a sound in our room. Besides this.. everything was 100% perfection.
