Kona Kai Resort, Gallery and Botanic Gardens

The perfect oasis in a sea of madness. Kona Kai is close to perfection. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. A small resort with only a few rooms - adult only. I felt like I have the resort to myself. Lovely beach area for relaxing and working on your base tan. Pool , hot tub and pickle ball court. Resort staff are super friendly and cater to your needs. A shout out to Scott the ground keeper for keeping the beach areas and lush gardens in perfect shape. Will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful & quaint adult only resort that is intimate in its size. There are nicely appointed comfortable cabins dispersed throughout lush and beautiful Florida foliage. The pool was heated nicely and Jacuzzi was a perfect temperature. There are numerous chaise lounges about for couples to recline in with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset, or coffee and the morning sunrise There is a small beach area to utilize paddle boards or kayaks. Also, there are a few hammocks and games to enjoy. If you are looking to rest, rejuvenate, & connect with your loved one, this is the perfect place!|Everyone that works there could not have been more accommodating and nice. Wonderful people!

Beautiful resort. Loved our stay. The grounds are designed a botanical garden, and it has nice little gallery. Beautiful grounds and very peaceful. You will easily be able to relax and and chill! It has a break wall that creates a nice little private cove. Kayaks and paddle boards are available to the guests. Rooms are very clean, simply but tastely decorated, and sufficiently roomy. Wall module heat and AC which is very quiet. Pool and hot tub if you get tired of the ocean! 😋 Pickleball courts, and they have Yoga a couple times a week. She was a great instructor. Will work to your capability. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The resort will provide some great recommendations for dining and activities. Will absolutely go back to this place!!

The reviews have all been spot-on. This property was an amazing find in Key Largo. Friendly and helpful staff: from greeting to check out and along the way! House keepers and grounds crew attentive. We stayed in mango, with a comfy king size bed and great shower … steps to everything!! The sand, dock, kayaks/ paddle boards and all the play options: pickleball, shuffle board, ping pong, corn hole and the beautiful pool and hot tub. All free and open access. Nice chair and table options both in sun and shade. We had a takeout dinner under the stars- amazing!! Sunsets: wow! Ample parking. Great eats and recommendations for activities. Would highly recommend and stay again in a moment!

Perfect stay—everything you need! The place was very clean and well equipped. Kayaks and paddleboards were available, which was a great bonus. The restaurant across the street was excellent and super convenient (Ballyhoos-) We also found a quaint little coffee shop (Coco Plum Place) less than a mile walk away with outstanding espresso cappuccinos and fresh-pressed juice—such an adorable outdoor spot and the perfect morning start. Would absolutely stay here again.
