Customer Reviews
Our large family rented 4 units to be ready at 4 pm. Upon arrival, only three units were available for occupation with the final one "may not be ready till midnight" it was finally available around 9 pm. Check in was quite slow and we requested bedding for the pullouts upon check in. We were told to just "let us know". We didn't have any bedding upon inspection and drove back to request at the check in office. Were assured but never received. Our family members had to sleep on a raw (it was filthy) mattress with various coats and and lap blankets we had brought. It was too late to further pursue at midnight. The next morning we requested again and were reassured of its arrival, but by our return late evening we still hadn't recieved. Really not impressed with the service offer
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Townes. The suite was spacious and comfortable. I liked that they had an indoor pool and several playgrounds. A couple of minor issues- 1) the kitchen and laundry appliances are dated. 2) the amount of kitchenware was somewhat limited.
Great location and perfect hotel layout. Indoor pool was great. Kitchen had all the basics to prepare food for our family. Target is less than a mile and Harris Teeter is a few miles down the road too. Busch Gardens is a couple miles away and their water park is right next door.
We booked this get away for us and the kids, had family visit for a day, and spent a few days at Busch Gardens. The gym was much better than I expected, and the wifi worked seamlessly from the unit to the amenities building. Very close to grocery, restaurants, entertainment and easy to navigate. The playgrounds were good, indoor pool is nice, and the mini golf looked like fun! We definitely intend to come back in the warmer months to utilize the outdoor pools.
Had an absolutely fabulous time at King's Creek. We stayed there for a week including July 4th. The resort was beautiful; our 1 bedroom condo was spacious and quiet. While in the area we went to Colonial Williamsburg and took the train to D.C. for a Washington Nationals game on July 4th. I would absolutely return in the future.
