Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport

I absolutely LOVE this hotel!! The staff is phenomenal, hardworking, always pleasant, and genuinely helpful every single day. That kind of energy is rare. Which I greatly appreciated. As a major car lover, staying next to Porsche Headquarters and watching the action at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta is unreal. It literally put me in my happy place. I originally booked just to be close to the airport… but I was so impressed I changed my flight and stayed three extra days. The rooftop views are breathtaking, the hotel is spotless, and the housekeeping team works tirelessly (seeing them active late at night says everything). I also love seeing how they cater to the dogs and is pet friendly. With the hotel being located in Hapeville. It gave a charming small-town vibe. Highly recommend d

My husband and I stayed at the Kimpton Overland for a Wounded Warrior Project event. At check in, I was greeted and provided my keys. Once we got settled upstairs, I spoke with Makayla to verify what was included with my stay. She verified my accommodations and provided me a list of restaurants I could take the shuttle to and from. Throughout our stay Makayla ensured any issues were addressed and resolved. She texted us to check on us throughout our stay and reminded us to let her know if there was anything we needed. Angel was our waitress for breakfast and made my husband's ice coffee to perfection. Whoever was in the kitchen on Saturday morning made the best shrimp and grits we have ever had. Taylor was our waitress for Sunday and she ensured we were satisfied with our meal even though

Based on the reviews of this hotel, I expected a lot better. Before booking, I called to see if I could get an early check-in as my flight would be arriving at around 9:30AM. I was told to call a few days before I arrived to set it up. No issue, I booked the room. I called them 2-3 days before arriving, they told me that I would need to call the day of to see if I could check-in early. I called as soon as I picked up my rental car at the airport, and was greeted by a not so pleasant manager. He told me that there is a $75 early check-in fee since normal check-in time is at 12PM. I agreed as I needed to offload luggage, and get ready for a wedding I was attending not too long after that. He put me on hold, picked up a few seconds later and told me they had availability so I made my way over

The hotel was very nice, super quiet considering it’s right next to the airport. My husband and I stayed there because it’s right next to the Porsche Experience Center. Our room was nice, but the bathroom had very limited counter space, and the bed seemed to be made up slightly wrong (the top sheet was layered on top of the comforter, rather than below it). Otherwise, staff was very friendly, our stay was great and it was very reasonable. We’d stay there again.
