Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas

We recently stayed at the Kimpton Miralina Resort in a remodeled room and had a mostly wonderful experience. Pros: • Centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. • The grounds were clean and well-maintained. • Rooms were clean and spacious, perfect for families. • The pools were great, our kids loved them, and the resort felt very family-friendly. • Staff interactions were consistently friendly and welcoming. They even drove us to our room with our bags in a golf cart when we arrived. Cons: • Poolside drinks were more expensive than at the indoor bar. • Pool wait staff seemed understaffed, leading to longer waits for drinks. • While the rooms were spacious overall, the bathroom was on the smaller side; the toilet/shower area barely allowed the door to close. • Some construction

I stayed at Kimpton Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa for a work visit and it was an incredible experience. The resort is so tranquil and located in one of the most stunning desert landscapes. The mountains in the background are absolutely breathtaking and the palm trees around the property make the whole setting feel peaceful and luxurious. The overall aesthetic is beautifully desert chic. I especially appreciated that the design of the rooms stays true to the Arizona and Scottsdale style rather than feeling overly modern. The rooms were very clean and felt new, and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. Stayed here with soccer team. |They are still in the process of renovating this place to turn it into a Kimpton. So all the villas have yet to be renovated, still on the older side but bigger space than the studios. The studio that I saw was fully renovated had 2 brand new king beds and fully remodeled. Some families were even upgraded to the 2 story villas. I just got the 1 story villa with living room & bedroom with 2 queens. ||I appreciate that they allowed early checkin. For checkout, 2pm was the latest as a platinum member. But they did allow us to shower at their gym later after soccer game, before our flight. So kudos for that. ||Huge property, so make sure you have staff show you where your room is at. Some families declined and got lost especially because it’s so hard to read the

Positive: Staff was absolutely excellent. Very helpful, nice, professional, and courteous. Negative: As others have commented, the rooms as well as the furniture are definitely overdue for a refresh.. Exterior doors were hard to lock... Front door didn't seal, at all... Light(air) was visible around 4 sides...

Our stay at the Miralina Resort in Scottsdale was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
