Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kerrville by IHG

Our room was very nice with king size bed comfortable for sleeping. They have a pool and fitness room but we didn’t use either of them but glad they were extra amenities. The front desk was friendly and thanked me for being a member but no extra perks like free water bottle as I had gotten at a previous stay in another Holiday Inn Express. The FREE breakfast was nice with cheese omelet, 2 kinds of sausage, gravy (but sadly no biscuits ), cereal, oatmeal, pancake station, cinnamon rolls, dairy products (such as yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk), bagels, muffins and bread. One unique feature was a grab & go bag in case you wanted some breakfast but time didn’t allow for you to sit and eat it in their spacious lounge.

The best HIE I've stayed in. We got a suite, it was huge for a HIE. Our room had a private balcony. It appeared all rooms facing the pool had a balcony. The pool was really nice, it was too cool to swim though. The breakfast was typical for HIE. They kept the items replenished and fresh.

Don’t stay here! I stayed here and about two days later came away with a horrible case of bed bugs. I called the hotel about 4 or 5 times before some one called me back. They said that they would check the room. A couple days later I called again, and they said they did a quick check but didn’t find anything, but would send me 5,000 hotel points for my trouble. They never sent the points. If you value not getting eaten by bed bugs you’ll find a nicer hotel.

I would give this place and the people who work here 100 stars if I could. My mom, my two sons and I stayed here while in town for a wedding that my mom was attending. On my mom’s drive home it was raining exceptionally hard, and she ended up getting into a car accident. It was almost midnight, and she was in a ditch crying on the phone with me until EMS got there to check her out 20 minutes later. The available staff and even some of the people staying at the hotel helped me by holding my infant while I talked to my mom on the phone, helping me calm my mom down on the phone and keep her talking, and just being there so I wasn’t alone. One member of the staff stayed hours past her shift in case I needed something, I didn’t get her name. Thankfully the injuries my mom sustained were minor a

Positive: Nice beds and wss overall clean. The staff were nice and were apologetic about a false alarm. Negative: False fire alarm at 4:00 AM woke us up due to probable bad smoke detector in the conference room.
