Kennett House

This bed and breakfast is beautifully maintained and in a great location! The room we stayed in was clean and tasteful - we especially appreciated the options to open windows or use space heaters, as April temps are unpredictable! Breakfast was delicious and Gilja, the innkeeper, was very accommodating of dietary needs!

Lovely house and hospitality. The house is really interesting and clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. It's like visiting a friend but with privacy. We live in a 100 year old house ourselves so we like old houses, and this one has all the comforts of home. Also street parking is good. Gilja, the hostess, is from Japan and speaks excellently and is organized and helpful.

Upon arrival, Gilja was very welcoming and spent time introducing us to our surroundings, both inside the house and in the nearby village. Our room was truly lovely and you could see that time was spent in presenting thoughtful amenities. It was quiet and wonderfully relaxing. Breakfast was beyond our expectations in both food offering and presentation. After a wonderful after breakfast talk with Gilja, we leave with not only lovely memories but also with a new friend.

Kennett House was beautiful…we felt so comfortable in this beautiful 100+ year old home. Gilja, the owner, was an absolute delight and her breakfast was very very good. Thank you Gilja for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kennett House. Our Suite was just so cozy and very clean. Spotless actually and had everything we needed. There is a common fridge to keep your leftovers from a dinner out on the town. The bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast was in a little alcove, our very own little space with a nice fireplace to warm us. Would definately stay again. Very efficient with Covid.
