Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square

I stay at this property every time when I visit Kennett Square for business. Staff is very friendly, rooms are always clean, cooked to order breakfast is excellent. On my last flight, I had a cancelled flight that delayed my trip by a day. Cody, the General Manager was very understanding and did not charge me for the night that I had to cancel on short notice. Stellar customer service.

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to write this one. The place is absolutely beautiful and so so clean. You are greeted when you walk through the door with a pleasant voice welcoming you. The gentleman at the front desk was phenomenal. The lobby is spotless and beautiful. The location is amazing with stores all around you. We forgot an item at home and there was Walmart basically right there. The rooms are spotless and beautiful. If you are looking for a nice place to stay this is for you. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to the gentleman at the front desk. Your customer service is phenomenal. Thank you to the guest room attendant for a spotless room. Loved our stay here, five minutes from Longwood Gardens (when the roadwork will be finished, at least!), and got a great sale price. Bed, chairs, counters, lighting all well designed and comfortable. Kameron and other staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast we chose in the restaurant was one of the cheapest but it was good and with generous portions.

Arrogant staff. No amenities. Avoid - Avoid - Avoid My wife and I checked in and she complained the rate charged, plus $100 for incidentals, was not the rate booked. The attendant said it was take it or leave it rate. The next morning she went to continue the billing dispute but another couple was complaining about the same issue. They had the manager or the owner on the phone where he declared he CAN change the rate (they DOUBLED the daily rates) without notice and he boasted it was legal. He can deal with our credit card company. We travel 10+ times per year. Hilton will be off the list. Marriott doesn't do this.
