Kaweah Oaks Campground

**Notice** This is a Walk-In ONLY CG. It's not too far to walk in but good to know. The sites are nice, level and spread out. Onsite camp host was really nice and helpful!! (ring the bell) Good Food & Fun directly across the street at the Riverview Grill & Bar (Seems to Always be Packed) Good Times All Around!!!

Checked in at the end of the day before heading up to MIneral King. Hostess was friendly and efficient. Showers were welcome after a long, hot drive. The camp is close to the highway, but there was not much traffic after about 10pm. Campsites are fine.

Kaweah Campground is a truly beautiful place to stay right outside of Sequoia. 🌲✨ One of the best parts is the hot showers, they’re open at the top, so you can shower while looking up at the stars. It’s honestly breathtaking and such a unique experience. The stargazing in general is incredible, you can see the stars so clearly from any campsite, and it really adds to the magic of being there. The grounds themselves are very clean and well-kept, and it’s clear that management puts effort into taking care of the property, which is greatly appreciated. That being said, there are a few downsides. On our first night, one of the sites we reserved had some water flooding, so we had to rearrange a bit. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it was inconvenient. Another con is that the campground is

Greek food truck located here- gyros, falafel, salads, fries, soft drinks. Ideal to stop on way home from Sequoia national Park. Long opening hours. Great food. Tables to sit and eat. Very popular so there may be a wait. (I received a wrong meat instead of vegetarian order so worth double checking if taking food away- it was VERY busy when I went)

Would definitely recommend! We were driving into Three Rivers late Friday night and needed a campsite. I called and the camp owner was super nice and hooked us up with a last minute campsite. Campsite was spacious and very well kept. The campground supplies showers, pit toilets, and free campfire wood! The campground sites right off of Sierra Dr so it can get noisy from the cars driving by, but it honestly was not an issue for us. Please note: this is a walk in campground! You have to park your car in the parking lot and carry your things in to the site. Overall, great night and super affordable.
