I had a great stay at the Lantern! I stayed in a typical King room, and overall had a really positive experience. The location is definitely the biggest plus, right on Delancey/Essex St in the Lower East Side. It’s close to multiple train lines, so getting to Midtown, Uptown, and Brooklyn was super easy. Everything was very clean throughout the property. The room was a bit smaller than I initially expected, but that’s pretty typical for New York. We had an okay view, but really loved the large window and bench seating area. The mini kitchen setup with hotplates was nice to have. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a freezer, and in our room the hotplate didn’t get hot enough to boil water, so we ended up using the kettle to cook. Not a big issue overall, but something to keep in min
I stayed at Kasa LES for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed. The unit was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable workspace. Digital check-in was fast and seamless, which made arrival hassle-free after a packed travel day.||The location worked perfectly — easy subway access, plenty of food options within a short walk, and a secure, well-maintained building. Overall, it’s a strong choice for business travel, and I’d stay again without hesitation.
We stayed at Kasa Lantern New York from October 29 to November 1 and had a great experience! The room was very clean, the self check-in process was easy, and the location is close to the subway. You can hear some traffic noise sometimes, but it wasn’t a big issue. The staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
Location is great, loved that there was a Starbucks steps away from the front door for an easy coffee fix in the AM. Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet minus the normal street sirens and horns that are NYC. Everything was close and convenient - a short walk to subway, CVS/Duane Reade and easy Uber pick up right in front. The cookies were an awesome surprise and much needed each night after dinner.
Such a great hotel. Our room was very spacious for a NYC hotel. It was super clean and so easy to check in. We had one issue with the power going out, we texted them, they responded, and our power was fixed in less than 15 minutes. The hotel location is perfect to get around the city. It will be our go to hotel when visiting NYC!
