Jasmin Residence Inn

It's a little smaller than I would like but the people and staff are great and it's quiet most of the time. It's perfect for singles and couples on a budget. They have bigger rooms (when they're available) and I lived there for 6 months during my pregnancy so I felt like I needed more space regardless. Cover your vent with tape like I did and you won't have to worry too much about any bugs coming from other people's rooms. When problems do arise the staff is efficient, kind, professional and thorough. They genuinely care about the residents and there's always a smile waiting for you from someone. The Jasmin Inn was referred to me by a friend who lives there, I was just looking for a place to stay for a couple of days. This is one of THE best run SROS downtown! This place is well managed! I was surprised to see how clean and quiet the place was! There’s no one hanging out in the hallways or front desk like I’ve seen at other places, you’re able to conduct business in private, first thing they do when you go to checkin in is they show you the room, if they have more than one you get to choose! They have rules that they expect you to follow, you don’t, and you’re out of there. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean, and you get room service once a week. They have complimentary coffee in the mornings! This is my go to place from now on, I was only going to stay a couple of days

The building on the Outside needs a remodel but the INSIDE IS VERY CLEAN AND REMODELED & NO BUGS IN MY ROOM OR ANYWHERE & NO CARPET! Which was great!! Easy to clean. TV'S HAVE Hulu and free basic TV Channels. building has Vending machines but they don't always work but they have Diet Coke for $1.35 per can and beef jerky which I favor both snacks so it was nice. They have 2 community kitchens, one only for steel cookware which is electric and the other one is gas. Nonetheless, very convenient being able to cook food and store it in a private Mini fridge inside your room. Wash your clothes and they have a Free dryer!!! Parking is horrible but you can find free spots if you circle the block A FEW TIMES, paid LAZ Parking lot in the back of the building (closed at night) but you're downtown

Great place centrally located in the East Village neighborhood of San Diego. 2 blocks to Ralph's, 2 blocks to mass transit, and walking distance to the San Diego bay. Room comes with a table, mini fridge, dresser and the showers are nice and hot. The entire place is cleaned by housekeeping daily and there are no trash cans in the building. Management expects you to take out your own trash and that's a plus.

First and foremost I would like to share some kind words about this place. The management were doing there rounds to make sure that all was well. The only thing bad about this place is that you have to shower in the hallway along with the bathroom. But for the most part I found my stay really pleasant here at the Jasmine residence inn. I look forward to stay with you again soon
