J & J's Getaway Campground & RV Park

Super nice campgroud!!! Quiet and peaceful. We were there for a special Halloween themed event and we had a blast! Friday they hosted a live band and had a BBQ buffet (for a fee) and Saturday was a potluck and costume contest. The sites are big and have a nice fire ring. The bath house is so nice. The bathrooms have a private toilet, sink and shower. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to go back next season.

June 2025 was our 6th stay at JandJ's Getaway. 3 of those stays were in excess of 5 days each. This rural campground offers quiet, solitude, no light pollution and a mountain valley setting not offered by other commercial campgrounds. It's a great location for club events & camping rallys. Owners Jessie & Jason are the most accommodating hosts that we've ever encountered. We have reservations for Fall & Summer '26 camping. Call them today!

A peaceful and quiet campground. Jason (campground owner) was very nice and the customer service was great. He called us prior to arrival to let us know the ice machine was not working which allowed us to pick up ice on the way. We like this campground and enjoyed our stay.

It's my favorite campground, and I can't think of a better place to be. Nice property with a variety of trees and lots of beautiful grass to walk around and enjoy the views. Quiet and peaceful, the stars are brilliant, and you can see the Milky Way. Enjoy the sounds of the creek along every campsite. Only a few miles to Hiawassee lake. Very clean , you will not be disappointed.

It's a Good Day to have a Good Day at J&J's! This was my third time staying at this gem of a campground (and not my last). I enjoy gazing at the mountains topped off by the gentle babbling of the creek. Jessie and Jason go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great experience. The campground and bathhouse are clean and well maintained. Their camp store is well stocked with essentials and treasures you will want to take home with you (check out the J&J swag). Several RV sites offer full hook ups which is a welcomed convenience. They are located about 20 minutes from Murphy, with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
