Cobb Creek Cabins

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Murphy, NC. My husband, our two Labrador dogs, and I truly enjoyed every moment. Collin and Jennifer were absolutely amazing—so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The cabin is in a great location, peaceful and very safe, especially for our dogs to run and enjoy the outdoors. It’s perfect for walking, relaxing, and disconnecting from daily life. We felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

What a fun and relaxing weekend at Cobb Creek Cabins! We stayed in the Smokehouse Cabin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we needed. This cabin was rustic but had everything we needed to make meals, relax and enjoy a cup of tea on the porch, and rest well. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make breakfast and dinner, and even had a cheese grater and ice cream scoop! Keep in mind that this cabin is very cozy, so only bring someone with you that you can be close to for a few days. The shower is a single-stall style that has ample hot water but does not give much room to maneuver (plan accordingly). The perfect place for us to stay while my wife was attending classes at John C Campbell Folk School. 15 min to the school & 15 minutes to downtown Murphy. Colin & Jenn were the perfect hosts, always available, never intruding, with good recommendations for places to eat & things to do. The Bear cabin was perfect for us. Very clean, soft and absorbent towels and soft cool linens. The back porch was great for listening to the creek & reading. The front porch was equally as calming, admiring the goats & chickens. We are already planning our next stay. By the way the half dozen farm fresh eggs were a real bonus!

We had a fantastic stay at Cobb Creek Cabin, specifically the Fox Cabin, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run mountain getaway. Communication from Collin was excellent from start to finish—clear, timely, and helpful without being intrusive. From booking through checkout, everything was smooth and well organized. The location is great and perfectly situated for relaxing and unplugging. One of our favorite aspects was being able to walk the property with our two dogs and truly enjoy the natural surroundings—it added a sense of space and calm that you just don’t get everywhere. Check-in, check-out, and cabin instructions were easy to follow and thoughtfully laid out, which made settling in effortless. No guesswork, no stress—just arrive and enjoy. O

We loved it! Exploring the property, meeting the goats, donkeys and chickens! And the cabins are all right along the creek, which is lovely. You can see and hear the creek from within the cabin. Collin and Jennifer are nice as can be and gave us tips for where to go in town. And the cabin is absolutely charming. Would definitely stay there again!
