Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf - A Caesars Rewards Destination

I want to begin by saying that Tyler is hands down the best thing your establishment has going for it. He was professional, kind, and solution-oriented when no one else seemed willing to help. If it weren’t for him, this experience would have been even more disappointing. We booked three separate rooms for our very first family outing to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. When we made the reservation, we specifically requested that our rooms be together and non-smoking. Upon arrival, we were placed on three different floors, and two of the rooms were smoking rooms. When my son-in-law (whose wife is pregnant) asked the older gentleman checking him in if he could be moved to a non-smoking room, he was met with the response: “What would you like me to do about it?” That response alone was sh

My husband and I are from central Illinois and usually love this little getaway, but this stay was a bit disappointing compared to our past experiences. Upon arrival, there were four to five police cars in the parking lot, which was unsettling. Later, when I went down to the pool, the elevators were not working and there was no warning or notice posted. Several guests, myself included, were confused and concerned, and we ended up waiting about 10 minutes. When I finally got to the pool area, I was really looking forward to using the hot tub, only to find it was out of service with no notice. To top it off, there was a large mess of food in the hallway leading to the pool, which took away from the experience. That said, there are still many reasons we continue to come back. The rooms are

Nothing to write home about. The hotel lobby is nice and our room in the north tower was adequate. The room was clean but the furniture was pretty beat up. The casino was small but clean. It does smell heavily of smoke. There was no drink service at slot machines. Dining options are very limited.

Positive: Great view. Comfortable bed Negative: I believe you have to rate the Casino with the hotel. The casino has such poor ventilation. There are so many smokers we had to shower after playing slots. Over 80% of adult Americans don't smoke yet we have to put up with the minority that do.

We've stayed here a few times, and have really enjoyed it. Nice, clean hotel and casino. However, our stay here just this past weekend was a little disappointing. The casino seems to be a lot more smoky and smelled it too. Not so clean feeling in the casino with the heavy smokiness. They need to put in a better air filter, or do something. We might have to look to stay elsewhere if it continues to get worse i hate to say.
