Island House Apartment Motel

Fantastic! We had a 1st floor room facing the beach. You open your sliding door and your feet are in the sand. The room was very clean and the murphy bed was very comfortable. The location is great and the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like family. They have thought of every little detail to make your stay more enjoyable. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. I will DEFINITELY stay here again!!!!!

We've been coming here almost every year for 20 years or more. The rooms and furnishings are always clean and well maintained. Their recovery from the last spate of hurricanes is amazing. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. Anything you need: chairs, umbrella, floats, sand toys, grills etc. are available for use. A true piece of "old Florida" heaven.

Everything about the Island House is perfect! The owner and staff are amazing. The rooms are recently updated and very clean. My husband and I were treated like VIP guest from the second we got there. I love that this motel is small because it was so quiet and relaxing, but at the same time everything I was wanting and expecting. The view is gorgeous. We also felt very secure during our stay. This was our first trip to the gulf, but it won't be our last. We can't wait to be back at the Island House next year! I highly recommend the Island House as a place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. It has a beautiful view and has everything you will ever need. I loved how you could eat your breakfast at the tables right outside of your room and watch the ocean at the same time. I also loved how the beach is right in front of you so you don't have to walk far. The place also comes with toys like floats so you can enjoy your stay even more. I 100% would recommend not to skip this experience :)

We had another (our third) wonderful stay at Island House. We find the beachfront apartments perfect for us and love the view from the second floor. As usual, the apartment was spotless, the kitchen well equipped and there is plenty of space to store the food you bring in. The fold down Murphy bed is extremely comfortable and so easy to use. The shower is spacious and the bathroom also has ample space for everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful… and of course, the setting and beach are just beautiful! We will see you again!
