What a awesome stay... The room was great and so clean"" the bedding was really comfy and plenty of pillows which I really appreciate! Love that the rooms are off the road.. so nicely decorated and the fire pit area is a great place to chill after dark.. the front desk ( Tara & Amanda) is so friendly and make you feel right at home"" best place on the Outer Banks to stay for sure!! ☺️ !⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed in the back where the larger rooms which also have kitchens are located, what a clean space probably cleanest I have seen in a long time, the room had cozy bedding a awesome shower a great kitchen space which by the way helps with saving $$$ if you're staying more than a day, there was a dining room table plenty of wall shelves for your luggage. I love the outdoor spaces which had a fire pit spot to sit around the fire or go on the porch and chill around the little bar area. Had a nice setup inside for coffee or tea, Tara was fantastic and such a gracious, friendly and awesome host! I love this place and would come back in a heartbeat highly recommend staying here to all my friends and family!

Wonderful place to stay! We stayed at the Island Guest House once a month for about nine months while building our home in Manteo, and it was always a great experience. The guest house was clean, friendly, and very accommodating. The staff was outstanding. Tara, the manager and Amanda consistently went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We’re going to miss staying here, but we’re grateful for the friends we made along the way. Highly recommend!

I just got done with my stay at the Island Guest House. This is my 4th year in a row staying there. It is always a massive pleasure to stay there. It’s immaculately clean and the staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered. The manager in particular is amazing at her job and makes me want to come back year after year. This place is PERFECT.
