InTown Suites Extended Stay Raleigh NC - Garner

So far from what I have seen it’s not the best . I’ve stayed at 3 other Intown suites locations that were really super pleasant. I had higher hopes for this location. I checked in last night and from what I’ve seen so far my room wasn’t even clean I can post pictures of the sink when I stepped in and the rooms smell like cigarettes which isn’t good because I’m traveling with an infant. But they said They’re supposed to change my room so I can update this review.

My boyfriend and I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for several weeks this past summer, and the experience was nothing short of horrifying. The room was infested with bed bugs—not one or two, but an obvious, ongoing problem. It was clear the hotel had attempted (and failed) to treat the issue before our arrival, and when we reported the infestation, staff reacted with a level of nonchalance that was almost more alarming than the bugs themselves. This was not a surprise to them. To make matters worse, the manager’s behavior was aggressively unprofessional. One afternoon, while I was alone working remotely, he knocked on our door. As soon as I opened it, he forcefully pushed it inward, causing it to swing wide open so he could see directly into the entire room—completely unprompt

The room was nasty. The receptionist was the only thing nice there. The property manager was rude. The room smelled bad, it had a roach in there. The carpet wasn't vacuumed. I ended up leaving early due to my job being done and talked to the manager about a refund on my reservation and he just stated that they rent by the week they don't do refunds and hung up on me. When I took the dead roach to the front desk to show him, he picked it up with his hand. Nasty and rude is how I would explain him. They also messed up my first reservation getting there. By the time I got off work and to the one on capital Blvd. They told me that they didn't have any rooms because house keepers didn't come to work. So I was stranded looking for a room for that night. I was pissed off. Then on top of it all w

Bugs. Everywhere. Even after they had Orkin come spray, there were cockroaches, the walls in the bathroom were rotting out, and the front desk always acted like the guests were an inconvenience. They did their job, and they did it pretty well, but definitely left one wanting in the attitude department. A solid roof over your head when you have nowhere else, but not somewhere I'd go by choice again.

Steve is Good Person.. Rooms r comfy..Had a problem with the bathroom sink.Steve had it fits n a few minutes...
