InTown Suites Extended Stay Decatur AL

First and foremost the ladies that work there especially Miss Sheila that runs the front desk I absolutely love these ladies they're nice as can be and will help any way possible as long as you don't break their rules which is understandable. The room could have been a little cleaner but it wasn't a newly remodeled room it was just a regular room still perfectly fine, water pressure is horrible without a doubt if you have thick hair you can't even wash your hair unless you do it in the sink. But location was wonderful and it's well maintained on the outside and the inside.

This hotel is now known as In Town Suites. Our house burned down and we feel we were blessed to find this place! This is an extended stay hotel. There are a lot of Contractor's that stay here. They have a weekly rate that is a great value! We had a two bedroom handicapped room that we stayed in for about 2 months. |The maids only cleaned the room once a week which was ok with us. Security at the hotel was ok. All exterior doors were locked but could be opened with your room key. They have a laundry mat inside of hotel so you can wash your clothes. There are two grills out by the pool for guests to use. Our room had a small kitchenette which serves well but there is no oven. Staff was exceptional and eager to help with any problems. The room is nice andju j clean. Great value! You have to have a key card to come back in the building, so random people can't just come in. But most importantly, the manager is extremely helpful! She called me when my groceries were delivered and saw me struggling to move shelf in fridge and without me even having to ask! Other staff and a guest helped me and my disabled husband bring in groceries earlier. Staff and guests seem very friendly and helpful.

It is a bare minimum experience. Nothing to write home about at all. The staff was friendly, so the issue is not with them. We weren't real thrilled that we saw sticky roach traps in the room but, at first we weren't too concerned by it because they appeared relatively new. Then, one night my son killed a baby roach crawling on the kitchen counter. The microwave had rust in it and it clearly had not received a thorough cleaning as there was some orange looking "something" caked to the bottom of it under the glass turning tray. Fortunately, we really did not need to use it outside of heating some broth. In the bathroom, There was mold growing on the ceiling around the vent, the showers water pressure was weak (water came out of both the shower as well as the lower spigot at the same time)
