Inn On The Lakes

I stayed three nights at Inn on the Lakes while passing through town, and I’m so glad I did. I had a room in the back overlooking Little Jackson Lake, and it was such a peaceful setting. While working from my room during the day, I could see the many employees constantly passing by and working hard to keep the grounds clean and guests taken care of—it was clear how much pride the staff takes in the property. The pool area was a lovely place to relax, surrounded by beautiful flowers and plenty of birds to watch. With the lake view, you really get the best of both worlds with both sunrise and sunset views. I found this hotel on Google. One thing I like is that it's privately owned. It's really quaint, it was very windy and cool the day we got there so I wasn't able to take advantage of the absolutely beautiful swimming pool and surrounding. The lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Very accommodating even let us check in two hours before. One thing they do that's a lot different than the chains, they actually serve you breakfast in the morning on the half hour. Basically you fill out a menu circle the time you would like it delivered and they show up the next morning to your room with it! After a bad start at an AirBnB we came here. Not disappointed. Beautiful hotel with great staff. Excellent location with water views and 6 min from downtown dining and fun. Pool, bar and restaurant all fantastic. An affordable, upscale stay. Will definitely be back.

I had earlier written a poor review from an earlier visit. This time I had a wonderful time. Front desk associates were personable and very helpful. The room was great although next time I will reserve a balcony room overlooking the lake. The room was spacious, cleaned every day and had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was delivered to the room, you were given a choice between two items and coffee and juice. The breakfasts were good but I still miss having breakfast in their restaurant as we did before covid. The Chicanes bar and restaurant were good. The menu was diverse and had specials during the week. The bar associates were so kind and helpful. Overall it was a great experience.
