Inn on The Hill

Just loved this quent little place. My husband and I arrived late and the lady at the desk welcomed us with open arms. She was very friendly!! When we got to the room it was so warm and inviting. They window and sliding glass door was open which brought in the beautiful fresh air. The room was spotless. Will definitely stay there again on our annual New England trip.

Staid here one night. As motels go, this one is great. Room was clean, very comfortable mattresses, spotless bathroom- what else to wish for? Location is close to the center and across the lake. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Inn on the Hill. The room was spotless and the showers were beautifully updated, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. The owner was so friendly and welcoming—it really felt like we were staying with family instead of at a hotel.||||One of the unexpected highlights was being able to use the amenities at a nearby resort. We got to go paddle boarding and kayaking, which made the trip even more memorable and fun.||||Overall, it truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next Lake George trip!

We’ve stayed at Inn on the Hill for the past three years and have always spoken highly of it. Sadly, this visit was very disappointing. The owner, Mary Ellen, initially told us we could use the equipment at her sister’s hotel across the street (as we had in the past), but as we were walking over, she stopped us and said we couldn’t “camp out” there and that she didn’t want us “monopolizing the space.” It felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, especially during the off-season, when the property was nearly empty. The room itself was a letdown. The facilities are very dated, the lighting was poor, the rugs smelled musty, and the bathroom had visible cracks as did some of the furniture.
