Inn at Lebanon - Hershey/Manheim Area

I don't normally leave a review under 4 stars unless something really stood out as being subpar, and this hotel had several things that I didn't like. 1. Checkout was at 11, but they turned the keys off around 9. I took some things down to the car a little after 9, then went back to the room. I had to go back down to the front desk because neither key was working. I keep a backup key in my wallet in case the other gets scrambled from static or something, so I know this was intentional. Believe me, I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could and had no intention of staying past checkout. The front desk clerk seemed surprised that the keys weren't working, but I don't buy it. 2. There is one curb cut way down by the handicapped parking, but there were no other places to get a luggage car

At 8:41 pm, February 6, 2026, upon laying my head down and beginning the process of falling asleep, a MOUSE ran across the floor of my hotel room, into the closet, into the bathroom, back to the closet, under the bed, up under a pillow, and then dissapeared. When I called the front desk, I was told "what do you want me to do? talk to a manager in the morning about some kind of discount." And then upon requesting some mouse traps was told "we are all out of mouse traps". HIGHLY UNPROFFESSIONAL, HEALTH CODE VIOLATION PALOOZA! -0/10 stars. Bed sheets stained with bodily fluids. I figured it wasnt going to be the greatest motel considering it was the cheapest that weekend but not by much. I figured we would check it out. The front desk guy was ok. We get to our room and there is water around all of the windows. The window all leaked. The heater barely worked and looked like someone beat on it a time or 2. Dry wall was missing. The couch couldnt even be sat on. It was old and sagging. There was blood stains on the sheets and mattress pad beneath it. The bed wasnt great but if you wanna open a bottle of beer while on the toilet, there was a bottle opener right there. The curtains wouldnt close. Inn at Lebanon Where do I begin? My colleague and I were in town for a 3 day conference and this was the closest hotel to the venue. While it didn’t scream “luxury” we were at least expecting clean accommodations at that price point. The first night we were exhausted and didn’t do much other than unload our multiple bags and plan for bed. We were surprised by the dank smell of the lobby and room but decided that could be overlooked. Right before bed, we saw a very large house centipede on the ceiling. See photo. I know they are harmless so wasn’t too alarmed, in fact, I caught him and placed him in the stairwell where he may find more food sources (or so I thought- turns out his meal ticket was IN our room). I had a very pleasant and peaceful two night stay at the Inn. My room was clean and orderly and equipped with a new fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable and all linens and sheets were fresh and spotless. The heat and air conditioning unit worked perfectly and there were no noticeable odors to speak of. Obviously the building is older and there's still much work to be done. But the staff here appears committed... Just look at how they respond to every review, be it good or bad! I would not hesitate to return here or recommend the Inn to a friend.
