Inn at Grand Glaize

I have stayed at the Inn at Grand Glaize many times over the last 5 years, often times in the same room. It has almost become a home away from home. There have been many improvements and updates over the years and many improvements happening now. New updated beds and bedding, furnature, painting and flooring through out. These were really comfortable in our recent stay last weekend. Our room is always clean. Chris is absolutely amazing. If we need something he is right on it and always with a friendly smile. Kai is the sweetest. She will even make you some of the best sweet tea (literally the very best)! The only thing I hope to see updated in the near future is the walk way outfront and around the pool. The pool is very nice, its one of my favorite features. You cant go wrong with Stan's

You will be welcomed very warmly with Chris at the front door. Nobody will try harder in the hospitality business to make sure your stay is 💯 percent. Then we were welcomed very warmly with Lori at the front desk. She starts your day feeling good. She is funny and so personable. The bar and grill has the friendliest staff. The food has been great. This is our must go to when we visit the lake. 5 stars all the way around.

This is a large property, the largest we’ve stayed at this trip. It’s situated along one arm of Lake of the Ozarks. The lobby is on the fourth floor. We enter directly from the parking lot. The land slopes sharply downward toward the Lake. We’re staying on the third floor. A floor below the lobby. Different. Our room overlooks an inlet of the Lake. We can see across the Lake, but not too many lights at night. An interesting view.||The room is typical of a chain hotel – king bed, one bed table, credenza with TV, mini-fridge and microwave, a sofa with sofa table, a writing desk and chair. A nice rather generic room. Comfortable clean and well maintained. It has a balcony overlooking the Lake. A nice touch.

This Inn wasn't the worst I've seen. However, our reservation was for a king bed room we ended up in a room with 2 queens. Room was clean. No bugs thank God! We didn't check out the pool but we did check out the hot tub and sauna. Bothin in which could use some serious maintenance/updating. The hot tub had a funky smell. The saunas door wouldn't shut and the light was burnt out. Seems as if someone was smoking in the sauna and left their butts behind. Couldn't use the bathrooms in the hot tub area as they were gross and the doors wouldn't shut. The hot tub was nice but could use a makeover as there's rusty nails and such. Beds were alright. For driving over 10 hours I kinda expected them to be a little higher quality as I wasn't just looking for a cheap place to stay. Service was nice but

Positive: The balcony with a great view of the Lake of the Ozarks. beds were comfortable and the couch and coffee table were great for cards. Negative: the restaurant was closed.
