Indian Lodge Motel

Stayed two nights while visiting family staying in the nearby state campground. The motel meets all basic needs well. It is clean and comfortable. Fluffy towels which I appreciated.|The two TV remote controllers were perplexing to use. As a single woman, I would have appreciated some type of manual deadbolt on the door. Electronic locks are great....until the batteries die.

Five stars because these are basic, but nice, quiet rooms in a great location. A good value with the bonus history of being established by Walter Brennan. Walkable to all of the restaurants/bars/shops in Joseph, this hotel was ideal for our group as a place to stay before and after a week-long backpacking trip in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Kudos to management for offering us an early check-in when we finished our trip.

This is a wonderful hotel in a nice town. We stayed in room 5 which had a private patio. The room was clean and comfortable, parking is convenient and you are right in town so everything is within walking distance. We will be happy to stay here whenever we are in Joseph.

Some of the rooms are renovated. It's self serve, which isn't unusual in Joseph. The rooms are clean and cozy. It's within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping. We even walked to a park.

Fine place to stay after a backpacking trip. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The free coffee was good. My only complaint is the paper coffee cups that were individually wrapped in plastic--a few unwrapped paper cups or reusable mugs would have been great and would mean less plastic garbage. But overall, a nice place to stay.
