Rooms small and rustic, enjoyed the peace and quiet. They have a dock to bring your boat the lake is very clear and a beautiful setting. Eric is a great host

On the lake! Incredible views all day. Quiet and peaceful. Outside of town 2.5 miles. Not good location for walkers as you have o drive for spots to walk. Cute cabins and very clean and old school. No sink in tiny bathroom so kitchen it is. Everything updated in rooms. Fridge and wall heater new. NO internet or TV so there you go. Eric the owner is great for all info!

Trouthaven is one of the few remaining little slices of heaven in the world. It's so comfortable, so cozy, and located on such a pristine location. Despite what other weirdos in the reviews have said, Eric was an incredible host. He was attentive, available, helpful, and more than willing to answer any questions. He felt like family and I regret that he isn't. Do stay here, just not in September so my family and I can have it all to ourselves 😁

Eric was an amazing host. Kind, hardworking, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. He made sure he did everything in his power to make our stay wonderful. The cabins were comfortable, clean, and had everything we could really need to have a pleasant stay right on the lake. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The only downside is no internet or cell service, but that wasn't that big of a deal with us when we came to get away from our phones and other internet type distractions and if you go a couple minutes up the road you are in cell range. Our 6 year old son also loved the location and it was super close to all the places we wanted to go to. 10/10 would stay again and would like to thank Eric for such a wonderful experience and the conversations while we were stay

My husband and I and a friend couple stayed here for the weekend for a wedding. I really loved trout haven. The owners were super super nice. The grounds were beautiful and right on the lake. Being on the far side of the lake away from the touristy area was fantastic. What was even better was no cell service or TV or Internet. It was so nice to unplug and have a good time period the cabin we stayed in was the 2 bedroom cabin and it was great. The kitchen is small but adequate. The bathroom was nice and clean. The living room dining room area was good size. The Queen size bed room was small prie'ne the room with the 2 double beds was pretty good size. The grounds were well kept and there is a picnic area which is large and a game room. You can rent a small boat for I think it was $15 an ho
