Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course

The property location was very convenient. Loved the complementary Tesla chargers on site. Staff and room service were exceptional. However, the walls in the room are paper thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors. The noise issue makes it a large drawback from truly feeling like a 4 star hotel.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very beautiful property with great amenities. The front desk staff both morning and night (and overnight) were stellar ! Super friendly and accommodating. Food and beverage - with the exception of the elderly grumpy woman who was the bartender on Wednesday night, everyone was nice. I had an issue with the food choices because I live a vegan lifestyle and wanted some options. The bartender refused to accommodate me and upcharge me for extra tomatoes. Also was blaming the chef a lot. The manager Alex, resolved everything and truly went above and behind to ensure I was fed. The staff at the grab and go were also just as kind! Making sure I had vegan alternatives . Thanks gentlemen!! This was a nice quick stay .

The rooms and buildings kinda weren’t the most updated overall (no luggage carts) but the hammock garden was unique and the best for relaxing. Fire pits by the golf course are also very nice for the end of sunset. Staff was so kind honestly all of them deserve a raise.

Went to check in and they didn't have the type of room that I had booked, despite the fact that I arrived right at the 4pm check in time. Instead was put in a building without an elevator on the 2nd floor, even though I had seniors in the party that struggled with stairs. The receptionist didn't seem too concerned, or willing to help. Otherwise the hotel is decent but kind of secluded from the city or outside restaurants. It is listed as a 4 star, but I've stayed at better 3 star hotels.

Stayed at Hyatt Monterey and overall, the quality is what you’d expect from a Hyatt property. The room was very spacious, and what I loved most was the large bathroom. The vanity counter was wide and roomy, which made it super convenient to lay out all my toiletries and makeup. However, the biggest downside for me was the gym situation. Our room was located in the “ABCDE” area, while all the fitness centers were over in the “MYS” area, which required driving over. That was extremely inconvenient, especially if you just want a quick workout. If you’re here mainly for golfing, this hotel could be a good option. But for me personally, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
