Hyatt Regency Cincinnati

This is a huge hotel but it never felt crowded the weekend we were there even though it was full of ASU fans. Elevators are fast and we never had to wait long for one. The Hyatt check in email actually works. The desk staff actually had the two request we made in the email. Was the fastest checkin ever. Our room was very nice and the cleaning crew came by every day and did awesome. We are big Hyatt fans and experiences like this are why.

Positive: Prime location. Walking distance to most amenities. Negative: The room was more like a 3 star hotel. I stayed in 3 star hotels that had a better room. Stains on couch and bed spring sheet. Cheap furniture with markings on it. Headboard also had a bleach stain

We had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati and were genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out—more like a small suite than a standard hotel room. Having a separate seating area made it easy to relax, work, or unwind after a long day. One of the nicest touches was the welcome snacks waiting in the room. It felt personal and welcoming, and the mix of chips, candy, and drinks was a fun surprise that didn’t go unnoticed. Little details like that really elevate the experience. The room itself was quiet, well maintained, and very comfortable. I love the location of this hotel, as it’s in close proximity to the fount square (easy walk) and the Banks (probably 10-15 walk depending on your pace). The staff were friendly and accommodating when needed. Our room was spacious and the pillows/bed were comfortable. But, I had to knock off a star in this area. The tv stand had some stains on it, and the headboard was also ripped. I expected better here, given how much the rooms cost. But overall, I would return again if needed!

We come to Cincinnati every year for the XU-UC crosstown shootout since I graduated from Xavier. We always stay at the Hyatt Regency. We enjoy the Market Place, the fitness center, pool, and being in the downtown area at Christmas! Everybody is so friendly and goes out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Housekeeping staff are wonderful and brought requested items very quickly to our room. We always get breakfast and sometimes lunch in the Market Place because it is convenient and we get delicious homemade meals. Camille in the Market Place is our favorite! She always remembers us and what we like. She's always smiling and goes out of her way to give us great service! It makes our stay so much more enjoyable when we are treated like family. DeeDee is awesome and quickly changed
