Hyatt Regency Buffalo / Hotel and Conference Center

Customer service was amazing. Any staff we interacted with went above and beyond to be helpful and ensure we were happy. Restaurants were tasty. Room was good. Could use a bit of updating but beds were extremely comfy. Pool area was nice but could use a bit of attention. Overall I would be happy to come back.

Positive: The staff was very accommodating! The manager/ chef at Johnny D’s went above and beyond to take care of us after a long day at the game even though everything was closed. Negative: The continental breakfast was very underwhelming. For $26 per person; the food wasn’t good or hot. And the server was alone on Sunday morning. It took 20 minutes to get coffee and it was cold. This is such a flip from the rest of our experience!

Rooms are always clean and ready upon arrival. Everyone is very nice and go above and beyond to take care of you. The hotel bar is very nice and reasonable priced. There is also a Starbucks inside. There is also a Tim Hortons right down the road. Great location to move around Buffalo. Tram is next to the hotel. Only disappointment is that prices went up quite a bit but still one of the best stays for your money.

Stayed for one night, The room was fine but wasn't the cleanest, there was a few stains on the chair in the room, and there was a huge ball of hair floating in the pool. Not to mention the sound proofing between rooms is almost nonexistent. However, Kevin at the front desk was extremely good at his job, super friendly and genuinely seemed to like his job and interacting with folks. Location is good there's a lot of nice restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

I'm writing this for one reason, and that is to call out one particular staff member. His name is Kevin and works at the front desk. I spend an extreme amount of time in hotels around the world and have never seen customer service like I experienced with Kevin. Kevin went above and beyond any expectation to ensure whatever I needed or requested was met. I don't think the word "no" exists in this gentleman's vocabulary. The weekend I stayed was extremely busy and Kevin handled the volume with ease and professionalism. All, with sincere gratitude and a smile on his face. If somehow this review makes its way to the head office, I genuinely think you should consider utilizing Kevin's unique skill set to teach others in your organization.
