Hyatt Place Scottsdale/Old Town

This hotel is clean, comfortable and very quiet. From check-in, Dominic happily greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of! We had mentioned we saw the night club next door was loud on reviews and that we have a young family, and he made sure to book us a quiet room on the opposite side of the hotel. There was ample parking, and always had security around the parking lots at night for extra safety. It's steps from old town, so we didn't even need to move the car if we wanted to explore that area. The room itself exceeded our expectations Very clean, extremely quiet and comfortable new beds for us to sleep on. We had booked breakfast ahead of time (you could walk up and pay $11/day otherwise), which was delicious, a good, healthy variety, and they had more enough for everyone. We

This place is awesome. What makes it great are the people who work there for starters. Very helpful, engaging, and kind. The 2nd are the rooms. They do have a frig and a microwave. The rooms are a nice size with a super large television, living area, and the place is clean. Nothing fancy but just what you need to be comfortable. The only thing we would change is the lighting in the parking lot in the back if you have to park there. Change the lighting and its a go to place every single time. Its in a great location too. Convenient to Old Town. Clean & spacious room. Microwave & fridge plus other standard features. Bed was comfy to me- I prefer a firm mattress. There was construction while we were there- not ideal. Didn't eat the breakfast - went to Jojo's nearby (amazing!). Did eat dinner at the restaurant- good value- perfect if you need a bite and don't want to go out. They were able to hold our bags prior to check-in time so we could explore Old Town. Despite construction, the customer service was so impressive that the overall stay is still at 10/10 for me.

Positive: The rooms were clean and updated . The location was good and worked for us. Negative: The lobby area was undergoing renovations. There should have been been some price concession made as it affected our hotel experience. No lobby area at all. Check in area was a table in a small room, messy. Loud at night with kids in pkg lot

It’s not just about the room; it’s about the overall noise level throughout the night. As a globalist, we stayed two nights here, and both nights were plagued by shouting and loud noises from the street. To make matters worse, a loud trash truck started working from 3 am. It was impossible to fall asleep. Without noise control, this hotel is simply unbearable. The hotel room itself was okay—clean and spacious, as expected from a Hyatt property.
