Hyatt Place New York/Midtown-South

The Hyatt Hotel was a fabulous place for our stay!! Its was my 1st time getting a hotel room so I nervous about that but our room was amazing!! It was small but just for 2 people it was good! The couch they have in the room was so comfy and it overall was a fantastic place to stay :) Not only was it a nice hotel but the staff was amazing!! Shout to Kirah who was just amazing, she went above and beyond and just make the stay ten times more magical!! So thank you Kirah!! And will 10/10 will be back

Positive: Our room and the hotel was very clean. Negative: The breakfast could use some improvement. Also, the toilet paper location is very difficult to access while sitting on the toilet.

Fantastic hotel within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff were brilliant and everyone was so friendly. Customer Service is a rare thing these days, but all of the Hyatt staff were so accommodating and friendly. We asked for a room with a view of NYC, and wow did Hyatt deliver on that request. Quite honestly you wouldn't find a better view in most 5* hotels! We had the most breathtaking view of the Empire State building and were able to watch the amazing light show most evenings from the comfort of our room. Mary V our cleaner was wonderful. The room was kept spotless. Breakfast was excellent, the choice perfect for a family as there was something for everyone. Superb! One of my best New York stays. Very friendly staff, easy check in, location is great, and they offer an excellent breakfast. The room was clean and had a lot of space by New York standards. They have rooftop access with a view of the Empire State Building. Would be really nice to be up there when it’s warm. They offered earplugs in the room, we didn’t really need it on the 9th floor, but what a nice gesture. I’ve stayed in some really loud hotel rooms in NY (due to street noise) and earplugs would have really come in handy. The complimentary breakfast was pretty extravagant. Many different foods and drinks were offered each day. The seating does fill up as breakfast hours go on, but we didn’t wait long to get a seat. The rooms are clean, and it was easy access to get to the places we needed to go. The free breakfast is pretty basic, but it was good enough to get my husband and son going for the day.. There are great places to eat on the same street which made that convenient for food. Our only complaint was that we were given the wrong room upon check-in, so we had to troubleshoot through that which took over an hour that we had to sit and waitand one of the elevators was down, which made it very challenging to get an elevator. Overall, it’s convenient, affordable, and I would stay here again.
