Amazing! Simply amazing! Thank you so much to the Hyatt team for such a welcoming reception on check in for my birthday weekend break! The room was amazing with a stunning view of the Empire State Building (3503) although my busy schedule meant I was only able to check out the breakfast offering only once the food was amazing with fresh hot servings! The staff were so welcoming. There was an issue with my tv on arrival and they quickly rectified this. Brilliant service all round! Fantastic subway line and local food offerings! I will be back
I think this hotel should be rated higher. It’s in a great location. Close to many train stations, restaurants and nightlife. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Check in and check out was easy. I agree the elevators are slow. Just as a helpful hint, although there are 4 elevators, the buttons on both sides are connected. So press the button once then wait and watch all 4 doors to see which elevator comes first. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. We only had one wait that lasted more than 5 minutes. Our room wasn’t as small as some made it seem but that size is expected in New York. We had a king size bed in the corner, a nice window, desk, chair and bench. Theres a small closet and mini fridge as well as a coffee maker and 2 free bottles of water. We had plenty of space for our stuf
Had a great time, no issues. Breakfast was busy (went during the last hour, which they warn is busy) but was able to find seating and there was still plenty of food. Very nice and accommodating front desk. The rooms are tiny, but hey it is NYC. Several different subway lines close by which was very convenient. The elevators are always jammed up, there are only 4 for 45 floors. We were luckily on the 5th floor and often elected to just take the stairs as it was often quicker.
Very nice place. The employees are very nice, they answered all my questions without making me feel that I was disturbing them. The place is very clean: the loby, the elevators, the places to eat, the room. The breakfast is good and varied. Because of a snow storm, we had to add 2 nights to our stay and the employees at the front desk were very helpfull with the situation. They gave us the same room, to avoid us taking all our things to an other room during our stay. Good place to stay in New York.
Quiet: if you have a room 20+ floors, street noise is very manageable (which is hard for NYC) Views: some city view rooms will give you Liberty Statue and beautiful sunset. Elevator: like many complained in reviews, 40+ with four elevator is bit short. However, during out stay we never had to wait for a overcrowded elevator, and waiting time is within 5 mins. It’s all about right expectations set up.
