Hyatt Place Memphis/Germantown

I'm not sure why anyone would give this hotel a negative review as our stay there was lovely! This isn't a new hotel, but it is clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and more like a suite with a large sofa, bathroom and dressing area. Our bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right (not too soft). The breakfast area was spacious and included a large selection of different breakfast foods. The parking lot was large and well lit, with the hotel location in a quiet upscale residential area close to restaurants, shopping and gas stations. The area felt safe and the staff were all lovely, especially Josh at the front desk. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had a very nice stay here while passing through on a road trip. The suite was clean and spacious, and we loved the TV set-up that allowed us to rotate it towards either the couch or the bed. The shower and provided soap/shampoo were also even nicer than expected.

Positive: Location was perfect, far enough away to feel safe, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. Breakfast was good for most of my crew besides my pick son who only wants pancakes. Negative: ""

Shoutout to Ro who provided amazing customer service for us. We were in need of a room last minute as the airbnb we had initially booked was not up to our standards. Ro helped us to book a room and we were more than satisfied with the cleanliness and layout. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the breakfast yummy, and everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and courteous. I’ve been to other similar tier hotels in the area and this hotel is superior. I felt like the staff cared about doing the right thing, which seems like a rare thing these days. Thanks again to everyone who made our stay great, especially Ro. Your hard work and kindness are greatly appreciated. We were so impressed that we made plans to return the following weekend.

I just checked in today , but I could not wait to post this review as I will be here until Sunday. The location, the young man with the blonde hair, the room, and everything is literally perfect. The pictures and reviews do this place no justice. It’s better than any hotel I have stayed at even the higher end hotels downtown Memphis. If you are ever in Memphis stay at the Germantown location you will not regret it. The guy at the front desk is a great asset to the location very friendly, gave out great directions and friendly to everyone who came in.
