Hyatt Place Lubbock

Our recent stay was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, largely due to the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist. Our room proved to be a pleasant surprise, offering a spacious and comfortable retreat after our travels. The diligent hotel maids also contributed significantly to our positive impression; they were consistently nice and friendly, ensuring our accommodations were always immaculate. I particularly want to commend one maid, though her name unfortunately escapes me, who was an absolute doll. I’ve seen other comments about not getting a double queen and moved to a king. I had the same experience today. I booked 3 months ago through the Hyatt site, not a 3rd party. I checked in before 3pm. They acted like my reservation was different on their screen, but all of my reservation info said high floor double queen. I checked out and went to another hotel. My husband and I will not stay at a Hyatt again!

Positive: Nothing I didn't not enjoy the stay there this time at all. & we spoke with 5 different staff members nothing got fixed Negative: We have stayed there before & this time it was horrible. I did let 5 staff members know about the yuck on the wall & the door that looked like someone had broken into the room previous (I have pictures of you would like to see them) #328 was horrible

At the hotel today st 3 pm. Their indoor pool is too cold. I told the front desk and they said they can't change it. No one else in the pool. Said it was set at 72 but I got in and too cold to enjoy. Between this and the 1 of 3 elevators that was broken for 2 -3 days, disappointing.

Every member of the staff I encountered (the General Manager, Michael, Vincent and Julie) provided exceptional customer service! Due to their individual and collective extraordinary service, I will stay at Hyatt Place every time I visit Lubbock. Although the property is located in a busy area of town, my room was quiet and relaxing. The king-sized bed was comfortable. On-site parking was convenient and ample.
