Hyatt Place Denver Airport

I checked in Monday evening, after a long day of travel resulting from weather delays on the east coast. After flyiing from DC to LA, having a 4-hour layover, I arrived at the hotel at 830pm, instead of arriving in Denver at 11am. I was tired and the gentlemen at the front desk were amazing. Jeffrey G. checked me in and he clearly recognized how tired I was, and he expedited the check in and was very friendly. His coworker was also helpful and sympathetic to a traveler arriving after a long day. The hotel is centrally located, has a small but adequate workout space and a very nice breakfast that runs from 0600 -0900. I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if I am in the area.

Our stay was not horrible but not great. This hotel is outdated for a Hyatt. The condition surprised me. It wasn’t overly dean, some areas had a weird smell, and one of the two elevators wasn’t working therefore causing long delays. ||The staff was not overly friendly nor accommodating but that’s whatever. ||We got 2 rooms. The 1 room had issues with the television and the thermostat. The other room was ok. ||I called the front desk to arrange for airport shuttle the next day and they made me come down to the front desk to schedule it which consisted of giving my room number and the time for pickup. Why could they not have done that over the phone? ||Since checking out, I’ve been charged the wrong room rate and they charged the wrong credit card. I called and was told a manager would have

Positive: Room was very nice. Very clean. Negative: The morning staff was rude and yelled at our family for getting cold food from the serving area. We had an early morning flight and needed to grab a quick breakfast. Morning staff needs training on how to treat guests.

I just wanted to first informal start off with ADAM. I didn’t catch his last name, but he’s a phenomenal person. I greatly appreciate his hospitality, his professional and He is very knowledgeable and that is greatly expected and respected needs to say I’m very thankful for him. I also came across the woman that works on second shift her name AJUNAE witch I am so thankful for her as well she as well went out of her way for my husband, and I am looking for a fan for us. We would have to bake in that room because the air conditioner wasn’t working, which is completely fine. We agreed to the room. I’m not complaining about that. I’m just explaining to you what this nice lady did for me The only thing that I had an issue was with breakfast like this dude was really not trying to make breakfast

We stayed at the Hyatt for one night before our departing flight. Overall, it was an okay stay and served its purpose well. The staff were cordial and professional, the room was clean, and the view was beautiful, which we really appreciated after a long travel day. The main drawback was the breakfast experience. The breakfast area was not consistently clean, even though there appeared to be plenty of staff available. Beverage options felt limited—there was orange juice, milk, and apple juice, but typically you’d expect cranberry juice and a wider soda selection as well. As for the food, most items were not very tasty, though the cinnamon raisin bread was excellent.
