Hyatt Place Delano

We stayed at this hotel in December 2025 as a one-night stop between Las Vegas and Sequoia. The price was great and our expectations were fairly low, but we were pleasantly surprised. From arrival, it was clear the property is very clean and well maintained, and there was even security present in the parking lot, which we appreciated. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and the indoor common areas were also neat and well kept. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed—nothing brand new or modern, but absolutely perfect for our stay and more than fine for the price. There’s also a laundry room, which is really convenient if you’re traveling and need to do a quick wash. Hyatt Place Delano was very comfortable, clean and the staff was amazing very friendly and accommodating. The variety and presentation at the complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

Positive: Location is prime to our needs. Negative: I requested an earlier check out date and I was asked to pay almost the full booking price to make the modification. I still left on Sunday morning by noon. Most importantly the Jacuzzi had mold and the pool was disgusting. Children were so disappointed

We got in late and immediately got our room. The property seems newer but it is showing its age already. We both liked the softness of the bed but they keep the rooms at 65 and the road noise and trains could keep you up (they had ear plugs on the nightstand). The staff was friendly and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at the Hyatt during the beginning of November. It was clean and I usually don’t have an issue with staying at the Hyatt in the past. During the first day, my sister and I had questions regarding using her military discount. The male who worked at reception knew nothing in regards on how to apply the discount on the reservation and was rude. We still decided to stay regardless. During our stay, the majority of the time we wouldn’t be greeted and the employees would be up front gossiping. Another issue we had was one of the kitchen staff was verrrry rude to us and other guests. During our stay, we were allowed to bring a to go box for my nephew back to our room. He has autism and we just thought it would be easier not only for the staff but for us as well to bring the food upstairs
