Outside appearance good, near Dennys and a Jack in the box. Check in was good. Lobby well decorated. Bed and bathroom ok. Disappointed review is due to the soaking wet rug next to the sofa and along the wall. I found it accidently while plugging in my computer and probably would not have found it if I had not been in my stocking feet. The wet rug explains the odor I detected upon entering the room. The odor reminded me of towels left wet in the laundry hamper for a few days.Apparently there is some kind of a leak or has been a consistent leak within the walls from perhaps the roof for quite sometime. | There also was a 2 inch round hole in the ceiling with fiber board hanging out if it. Right next to a jack in the box and a dennys so a great spot if you want to grab a bite to eat and a snooze. The carpets are from 1900s and so is the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was loud and the closet door needed to be replaced. Other than that, breakfast and parking are free, the staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable and they have hot water. For $100 a night it was a great spot to stay.

The rooms are dated, the paint was peeling in the bathroom and the shower was missing the top attachment so you had to hold the shower head, but the room was clean, the shower water was hot, the heating was functioning. The receptionists, both the evening and the morning one, were super nice. No fresh fruit at breakfast Aliexpress my own. Our room happened to be on the ground floor right next to the ice machine so we were woke up before 5:00 a.m. by people fillling their coolers. Avoid that room.

Positive: The taco truck across the street. Negative: Dirty sheets, blood splatters on the ceiling, blood on the curtains, one of the rooms smelt terrible. Could not use the ?spa? area as it was being used as storage. The carpet throughout the hotel including the room appears to not been cleaned in years.

Beware make sure their property does not go missing within their own housekeeping or because they can’t find something, because they will charge you without notifying you or asking questions. Alma Lopez the useless manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. She is quick to charge and then turns around and says they can’t refund you for their incompetence. Maybe pay attention to your staff and what they do while on shift .
