Hyatt Place College Station

Super friendly and clean rooms. Shawn at the front was very nice and friendly. His engagement with the lobby and making sure every detail was presentable did not go unnoticed! We traveled from Dallas for the weekend, and will definitely be back!!

We stayed one night while visiting Texas A&M. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed dated and in need of a refresh. However, the hotel staff overshadowed those first impressions. Everyone was hospitable and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, with a living area as well. The hotel is in a good location with many restaurants nearby. The staff is what made this property stand out.

Overall this hotel provides a standard Hyatt Place experience. The rooms are a decent size and provide a little divider between the bed and pull out couch which is perfect for traveling families. The room also has a fridge and microwave. The lobby is a bit cramped, especially during busy breakfast time but we were still able to find seating. The breakfast itself is decent with some hot and cold foods, but it felt like they were struggling to keep food available despite it not being too busy. The indoor pool was great to have for our kids. Location is good, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Overall this is a good place to stay, especially for families who want a little extra space and free breakfast.

Positive: The hospitality and cleanliness were incredible! There with our Great Dane who was going to have surgery. Staff went OUT OF THEIR WAY to accommodate us in every way! Shout out to staff as well.THE place to stay!!! Negative: No

It was such a nice visit and the two desk staff we met over the two days were exceptionally nice. Breakfast was nice but the bacon needed to be cooked more, room was very large and the pool was lovely but I think the fountain wasn't working. The only recommendations I'd put out is for the clocks to be all the same time in the rooms, one was 20 minutes ahead the other was 4 hours, more then one pool towel available in the morning and the clock in the pool area to be fixed and working as well as the fountain and there was loose tiles on the back and hair ties in the bottom of the pool. Also toilet brushes in the bathroom would be nice. If you want a place that you are made to feel welcome then this is your place. It was an excellent stay.
